Dec. 20, 2022 at approximately 1 p.m. the Davis Branch of the Grant County Bank, in Tucker County, called Tucker 911 to report a bank robbery in progress involving a white male.

The Tucker County Sheriff’s Department and the Parsons Detachment of the West Virginia State Police responded to the scene and arrested the alleged bank robber in the facility.

Tucker County Sheriff, J.E. Kopec said, “A post investigation revealed the male was 21 years of age and from New Jersey. He allegedly passed a note informing the bank teller that this is a bank robbery, give me money or else. The bank teller told the alleged robber to leave.
