On Sat, May 6 and Sun, May 7, the STArt (School to Town Art ) All County Student Art Exhibition was held at the Firehall in Davis. The show was sponsored by the WVHighlands Artisans Group. One Hundred and twenty three works from all grade levels (K-12) that were picked to be in the show were chosen by the student’s art teacher. Each student received a special artwork and pin from local artist Seth Pitt to commemorate their talent and show participation. The awards ceremony was held on Sunday afternoon May 7 and much thanks to Preston County art teacher Claire Jones who did the judging. Also, special thanks to volunteers Holly Landes (show coordinator), Elaine George, Elaine, Moore, Betsy Viola, Rachel Garner, Nancy Luscombe, Linda Reeves, Donna Patrick, Carol Gwinn, Kurt Johnson, David Skoog, Tom Tillman, Susan Moore, Beth Spencer, Ruth Melnick, Brian and Susan Hicks and Titi and John Ferguson.
