Liz Beall Gregory Tucker County Educator

The Blackwater Chapter DAR programs for this calendar year got off to a roaring start with Liz Beall Gregory’s program “Could You Become a US Citizen?”  Her presentation and the discussion during and after were very informative.  She also gave us a sample test that prospective US citizens must pass in order to achieve their goal of US citizenship.

Ladies in attendance at the meeting were (bottom row l to r): Betty Kniceley, Cathy Hebb, Diane Beall, Pam Lackland. Back row (l to r): Liz Beall, WVDAR State Regent and Blackwater Chapter member Jane Larke, Kathy DiBacco, WVDAR Corresponding Secretary and Blackwater Chapter former Regent Cynthia Kolsun, Daryla Rapp, Judy Kittle, Amy Goughnour, Terri Lawrence, Phyllis Garcia, Mary Ann Tomson, and Karen Peterson

On the agenda for the meeting Saturday, February 11 (Lunch is at 12:30 p.m. at B&J’s Family Diner (former Depot Diner). The meeting will start around 1 p.m.) is further discussion about the State DAR Convention to be held at Canaan Valley in May

Daryla Rapp will be speaking about the 125th Anniversary of the DAR Hospital Corps formation.  Kathy Dibacco will be giving a program about the DAR pins.
