Davis, W.Va. – Featuring craft ales from West Virginia breweries, live music and a day of on-snow activity, Canaan Valley Resort will host the Hometown Brewfest from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. on Saturday, Mar. 4 at the ski area.

“West Virginia is blessed to have multiple, local craft beer producers, several of which are right here in our own backyard,” said Matt Baker, Canaan Valley Resort General Manager. “We’ll feature several of them on March 4 during Hometown Brewfest, while offering all the makings for a great day on and off the ski slopes.”

Baker said brewers participating in the event, include: Stumptown Ales, Mountain State Brewing, Hawk Knob, and Big Timber Brewing. Additionally, Big Timber will launch one of their newest creations, the Back Hollow Kölsch.

Live music will be offered throughout the day, with performances by DJ Strizy, Josh Folmsbee & the Crooked Roots, and the Sodapop Gypsies.  The resort will also host a raffle to help the Tucker County Ambulance Authority. An array of prizes will be offered.

For lodging, reservations, or additional information, contact the resort at 800-622-4121 or visit the website at www.canaanresort.com.
