DAVIS, W. VA. – The Canaan Valley Running Company recently hosted 600 runners, along with 600 spectators, as they kicked off their fourth racing season on April 30-May 1, 2022 with their flagship race, the Canaan Valley Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K. The race, which was held at the Canaan Valley Resort in Davis, West Virginia, and sponsored by Mountain Top Realty and Canaan Valley BBQ, gave runners the ability to enjoy the thrill of competition, while taking in the scenic beauty of Canaan Valley.
“We are excited to announce that the launch of our 2022 race season was huge success! I couldn’t be happier with how our kickoff event, the Canaan Valley Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K, has gone. We had runners from over 15 different states join us. It was truly a thrill to see smiles on the faces of our runners and spectators!” stated Robby McClung, owner and founder of the Canaan Valley Running Company.
McClung added, “We would also like to thank everyone on the Canaan Valley Resort team for supporting the race and preparing the park to ensure our runners and visitors had a fantastic time. The race would not be possible without their support and hard work!”

Registration for the 5th Annual Canaan Valley Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K, which will be held on April 22-23, 2023, will open briefly from May 3-8, 2022.
