Courthouse Christmas Tree

This year’s Courthouse Christmas tree was provided by Rex and Peggy Galloway.  The Galloways are thrilled to be able to provide this year’s Tucker County Courthouse Christmas Tree.  The tree was planted by Peggy’s dad, Blaine Fike, Sr. on his mother in law’s (Pearl Lansberry Hile) original home place in Cannon Settlement near Leadmine.  Mrs. Hile taught in Tucker County Schools for 35 years.  Her husband Cecil (a bus driver) was the son of Samuel and Laura Hile of Leadmine.
