Davis-Thomas Girls & Boys Basketball Update

The Davis-Thomas Girls’ JV Basketball team hosted Tucker Valley JV at TCHS on Wednesday January 27th. The Lady Bears fell in the contest 28-24. Kearston Adkins led Davis-Thomas with 10 points. The Davis-Thomas JV team also took on Tucker Valley at TCHS and fell in the contest 40-13. The varsity team finished the night against Tucker Valley at TCHS and the Bears fell in the contest 36-29. Raine McCauley led Davis-Thomas with 9 points and Holden Young added 7 points.

On January 29th the Davis-Thomas Boys’ traveled to Harman for 2 games. In the JV contest the Bears picked up the win 24-21. Harper Russell led Davis-Thomas with 8 points. In the varsity contest Davis-Thomas picked up the win 32-26. Raine McCauley had 8 points for the Bears and Trevor Adams and Myles Paugh added 7 points each.

The Davis-Thomas Boys’ team finished out the week in a game at Pendleton County against Marlington on January 30th.

The Bears fell in a close contest 32-27. Raine McCauley led Davis-Thomas with 16 points.

Davis-Thomas Girls’ and Boys’ team will return to action tonight at TCHS against Tucker Valley and then they will host Pendleton County on Thursday February 4th at home. The Girls’ game starts at 6pm with Boys’ games to follow.
