The Tucker County Fair has reported record attendance according to Marcy Williams.  Williams informed the Tucker County Commission August 28th of the state of this year’s County Fair during the Commission’s regular meeting.  “I just wanted to say that the Fair did really well this year,” Williams said.  “We had the most people there that we’d had.  We had lots of compliments.”

Williams thanked the Commissioners for their support of the Fair.  “Just wanted to say thank you to all three of you,” Williams said.

Tucker County Commission President Mike Rosenau thanked Williams for the work of Williams and her volunteers on the bleachers in the barn.  Rosenau equated the bleachers to walking on a tightrope.  “A special thanks to Makenna for all the work she did on the bleachers to make them safe,” Rosenau said.  “We really appreciate that.”

Tucker County Commissioner Fred Davis also thanked Williams for the children’s programming at the Fair this year.  Tucker County Commissioner Tim Knotts thanked Williams for how the Fair was handled overall.  “The Fair was wonderful, thank you,” Knotts said.

No business was conducted during Williams’ presentation and no actions were taken.  Williams only appeared to thank the Commission for their support of the Fair.
