On Saturday, October 14, Jenkins Ford in Buckhannon will host its Inaugural Car Show for pancreatic cancer research.    The day’s events will include something for everyone and will be from 10 am to 3 pm.   The first 200 cars will receive customized dash plates, and the cost per car is only $15.

DJ Scotty G and Soundwave Entertainment will be providing music during the day, and the emcee will be Angelica Trinone of Gold and Blue Nation.  Angelica lost her grandmother to pancreatic cancer.

During the day, the Lewis County High School cheerleaders will be providing activities for children, including face painting.  Coach Catie Nichols lost her mom, Beth Nichols to pancreatic cancer.

There will be raffles, door prizes, and trivia contests throughout the day.  Auctioneer Aaron Harris will conduct a live auction as well.

Former Jenkins Ford employee Jim Fetty passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2007.   His first full-time job was with Jenkins Ford.

There will be over 25 trophies awarded to cars, including PanCAN Choice, Jenkins Choice, and Best of Show.  If anyone has any question, they can call Dennis Crawford at Jenkins Ford at 304-472-1700.
