The Mountaineer Garden Club donated three books to the Fiver Rivers Library. The books, The Frightened Frog, Network with Nature and The Saved Seed were written by native West Virginian, Brenda Moore and illustrated by Emily Lockey Anderson.
Brenda Moore is a member of the WV Garden Club. She has been elected to be the president of the National Garden Club and will take office in May 2023 at the National Convention at the Greenbrier Resort. This is an exciting time to be a member of your local garden club. New members are always welcome and will find that community service brings a deep satisfaction in giving back to our community.
