Pickin in Parsons 2024 kicked off on Tuesday, July 30th and ran through Saturday, August 3rd.   The five day bluegrass music festival was held at the Five River Campground in Parsons and drew a crowd from across the nation and from several international locales, as well.  A variety of acts graced the stage, including Joe Mullins and The Radio Ramblers, pictured.  Other performers included Little Roy & Lizzy Show, Darren Nicholson Band, The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys, No Joke Jimmy’s, Rhonda Vincent & Rage, Leroy Troy & Cash Williams, Ralph Stanley II & The Clinch Mountain Boys, Lonesome River Band, Nothin’ Fancy, Caroline Owens & New Company, The Prince Sisters, Authentic Unlimited, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, The Junior Sisk Band, The Special Consensus, The Gibson Brothers, The Malpass Brothers, Johnny Staats & The Delivery Boys, the Grascals, Dave Adkins Band, Blue Highway and Sister Sadie.   

The festival is held annually the first full week in August.
