St. George Holds Senior Outpost
St. George Senior Citizens gathered at the St. George Community Church on September 19, 2024. Sharon Daniels led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance and asked prayer for the evening and the food. After a delicious covered dish meal, Sheriff Jake Kopec gave a talk warning of scams, self-defense techniques, being aware of our surroundings, and information on keeping ourselves safe. Sharon Daniels, Deloris Propst, Carol Weinstein, and Jane Pifer gave readings. Door prizes were won by David Varner, Deloris Propst, and Mabel Fitzwater.
Attending in addition to the above were Anna Fitzwater, Don Nestor, Arlene Ramsey, Don Silk, Raymond Collins, P. Ann Flanagan, Becky Corcoran, April Fitzwater, Wanda Snider, Virginia Popio, Dale Varner, Buddy Arnold, Shirley Cassidy, and Eleanor Nestor.
