TUCKER VALLEY BOYS MIDDLE SCHOOL BASKETBALL UPDATE

The Tucker Valley Boys’ Basketball JV and Varsity teams competed in Tournament play on December 28th and 29th. In the first contest the JV team fell to Tygarts Valley 43-34. Wyatt Betler led Tucker Valley with 11 points. The Wildcats took on Suncrest Middle in the next game and took the loss 35-23. Zach Long led Tucker Valley with 7 points. In the final game of the Tournament Tucker Valley picked up the win over Washington Irving 22-19. Trey Key and Bryson Harper led the Wildcats with 4 points each.

The Wildcats Varsity team took the floor against Tygarts Valley first and fell in the contest 35-18. Cameron Mullenax and Rudy Pennington led Tucker Valley with 4 points each. In the next game Tucker Valley took on the host Robert L Bland. Tucker Valley fell in the game 70-14, Will White led the Wildcats with 6 points. In the last game of the Tournament Tucker Valley faced Suncrest Middle and fell 30-25. Cameron Mullenax led Tucker Valley with 9 points. Tucker Valley will be back in action on January 19th at Elkins.
