Tucker Valley Drops Game At Pendleton County 28-6

FRANKLIN – The Wildcats Middle School football team traveled to Pendleton County on Wednesday September 16th. Tucker Valley scored first, but Pendleton County scored 28 unanswered points to take the win 28-6.

Tucker Valley got the ball to start the game and Liam hood rushed in for a touchdown to give the visiting Wildcats the early lead 6-0. Pendleton County answered with a long pass play to tie the game at 6-6. Pendleton County would score again on a pass play before the half to push their lead to 14-6 at the half.

Tucker Valley struggled to sustain drives in the second half and Pendleton County continued to have success in the passing game. Pendleton County would find the end zone two more times in the second half to pick up the win 28-6. Pendleton County scored 3 times on pass plays and 1 time rushing the ball.

Liam Hood led Tucker Valley on 9 of 16 passing for 101 yards and Raine McCauley had 48 yards rushing and 54 yards receiving. Will White added 47 yards receiving for Tucker Valley in the loss.

Tucker Valley will host Belington at home tomorrow Thursday September 24th, kickoff is set for 7pm. For more Tucker County Sports info visit TuckerCountySports.Com
