Turner’s Tidbits

This is a business card for the Billings Brothers operated by E. J. and S. O. Billings of Parsons. They advertise that they manufacture and are dealers of White Pine Shingles. They also offer cut and long hay as well as choice buckwheat flour. Samuel Olin Billings was involved in partnerships with several businesses in the area including the Cheat River Milling and Feed Company. It is assumed that Billings Street may have gotten its name from the Brothers. Perhaps they lived in the area, or their business was in the area.
