Turner’s Tidbits

This is a letterhead from P. C. Clark, barber shop and pool room, dealer in tobacco and cigars, Davis. The letter is dated December 29, 1920. Patrick Clark was also the owner and manager of a local coal mine. In the letter, he is planning to purchase 1,200 acres of land at a fair price. The owners of the property are Herr & Company of Lancaster, PA. Mr. Clark was married to Katheryne Wilverding. She taught school at Davis High School and Elkins High School.
