After nearly one week of intense outreach for support in a Facebook voting contest, Our House Youth Center is holding strong in the top 40. The project is one of 200 chosen from 4,000 applicants by the State Farm Youth Advisory Board to compete in its Neighborhood Assist grant program for $25,000. The top 40 vote recipients will receive $25,000 for their project. Our House Youth Ministries, Inc. encourages everyone to vote every day, tweet and tell family and friends about the contest via any method possible. The direct link to vote is https://www.state-assist.com/cause/1405208/our-house-youth-center or visit their Facebook page Our House Youth Ministries, Inc. to access the link. The contest ends 12 a.m., May 17. Every vote is important to help make the project a reality for Tucker County’s teens.
