New State Regent Attends Blackwater Chapter DAR Meeting

Blackwater Chapter DAR was honored to have our new State Regent, Barby Frankenberry, attend our meeting on July 18th at Amelia’s Restaurant in Canaan Valley.  Ms. Susanne Horner, State Corresponding Secretary, Mrs. Jane Larke from the Woodburn Chapter, Mrs. Mary Anger, Regent of John Hart Chapter and Mrs. Barbara McCreary, Vice Regent of John Hart Chapter also were in attendance.  Mrs. Larke was approved as an associate member of our chapter.  The State Regent gave us an overview of the National Continental Congress which was recently held in Washington, DC.   What a great honor to have these ladies attend our meeting.
