According to the criminal complaint, Parsons Police Chief, W.D. Rowe, said Corey Cochran, 20, of Parsons was arrested on a felony for sexual assault in the first degree.
Rowe said Cochran allegedly forced an eight year-old boy to perform oral sex on in him in the summer of 2013.
Protective Services and the Tucker County Child Advocacy Center notified the Parsons Police Department after interviewing the victim. The victim allegedly stated that the defendant threatened to do him bodily harm if he told anyone.
On June 17, Rowe, along with Sheriff B.K. Wilfong and Chief Deputy E.C. Surguy, said Cochran confessed to the sexual assault charges stating that he made the victim perform oral sex on him three times in the summer of 2013. He’s in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail under a $25,000 bond.
