Wendell Cantrell, of Patriots 4, receives an Action Trackchair from Amir Pishdad, Jr. Lieutenant Commander US Navy SEAL Team FIVE (Plank Owner) (retired)

Just days after Christmas, a welcome gift came to Patriots 4 in the form of an Action Trackchair. Amir Pishdad, Jr. Lieutenant Commander US Navy SEAL Team FIVE (Plank Owner) (retired) traveled from Florida to deliver this much needed piece of equipment.

Pishdad is with the Central Florida Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America and the chair was a donation from the family of a lost US Marine who was suffering from PTSD.  The Chapter is gifting the chair to Patriots 4 to provide an opportunity to as many disabled veterans as possible for hunting on the mountain and fishing in the Cheat River. Since this camps purpose is to provide a stress free atmosphere to enjoy the beautiful West Virginia countryside the chair will be a great addition.

Owner of Patriots 4 Major General Randall West’s (USMC retired) goal mirrors that of the Florida Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America in their effort to help veterans get back out and enjoy nature.  The facilities at Patriots 4 are wheelchair accessible and five cabins are available for rent year round.  We have a cabin in place for each branch of the service, Hooah, Anchors Away, Wild Blue Yonder, Semper Fi and a fifth cabin designated as Wild and Wonderful.

Patriots 4 is a 501 (c) (3) Non-profit Outdoor Recreation Facility dedicated to providing outdoor activities to wounded military veterans and their families.
