Brenda Joyce Gotinsky

Brenda Joyce Gotinsky, 79, of Fraser, Michigan died July 29, 2020 due to a motor vehicle accident. She was born November 23, 1940 in Douglas, West Virginia, a daughter to the late Stanley and Comaleen (Mettica) Gotinsky.

 

She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Cilia of Fraser, Michigan, two grandsons, Brendan and Austin Cilia, both of Fraser, Michigan, one sister, Alexandria Weakland and husband James of Sterling Heights, Michigan, one brother, Frank Gotinsky and wife Lena of Warren, Michigan, one sister-in-law, Christine Gotinsky of Troy, Michigan, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Stanley Gotinsky.

 

Ms. Gotinsky retired from Chrysler in parts distribution department after 30+ years. She enjoyed going to casinos and going on the casino bus trips. Aside from Michigan, she always considered West Virginia to be home to her. Brenda and her family never missed a trip to Thomas, West Virginia for 4th of July for Mountaineer Days. Her grandchildren and dogs held a very special place in her heart. She was known for her famous perogies and they will be missed by her family.

 

Friends were received at Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home, Saturday, August 8, 2020 from 11 a.m.– 1 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. with Father Timothy Grassi officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Thomas, West Virginia. We kindly ask all those in attendance to wear a face mask and observe all social distancing guidelines. Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Condolences may be made to the family at www.hinklefennerfuneralhome.com
