Brian Scott Hagedorn, beloved father, son, brother, nephew, and family member, 25, of Morgantown, WV died January 24, 2014 in Morgantown.

Brian Scott HagedornHe was born June 25, 1988 in Morgantown, WV. He is survived by his daughter, Riley Ann Hagedorn, stepfather and mother, David and Lisette Gravelle Popish, Harpers Ferry, WV, father and stepmother, Mark Eldon and Robin Hagedorn, Bruceton Mills, WV, two brothers, Larry Eldon Hagedorn, Bruceton Mills, WV and Patrick Shane Popish, Harpers Ferry, WV, two sisters, Rebecca Hagedorn, Morgantown, WV and Madison Leigh Popish, Harpers Ferry, WV, grandparents, Roland (Frenchie) and Sandy Gravelle, David and Carol Popish, and Eldon and Carolyn Hagedorn, along with aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other loved ones.

From a very young age he always wanted to be a firefighter, he was a lieutenant with Brookhaven Volunteer Fire Department, for the last six months he was with the Cheat Lake Volunteer Fire Department. He loved riding his four-wheeler, hunting, spending time with family, friends, and his daughter. Brian graduated from Jefferson County High School in 2006. He was employed with Appalachian Directional Company (ADC) as a diesel mechanic.

Friends were received Monday, January 27, from 5-8 p.m. at Hinkle Funeral Home. Funeral services were held 1 p.m., Tuesday, January 28, at Hinkle Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Callaway officiating. Interment followed in the Davis Cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. ww
