Carol Parsons Wingfield was born January 21, 1933 to Frances Kalar Parsons and Paul Alton Parsons. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 to join her husband, Billy Wingfield in heaven. Carol was a devoted Christian and cherished worshipping the lord. She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Villers (Mike Villers) of Woodstock, GA and Scheryll Richards of Morgantown, WV; two sons, Brian Wingfield (Ruth) of Grand Junction, CO and Kevin Wingfield (Rachel) of Marlinton, WV; granddaughters, Sheena and Melissa Villers of Woodstock, GA, and Vanessa Richards of Cape Coral, FL; grandsons, Cameron Villers (Amanda) of Atlanta, GA and Garrett Richards (Megan) of Morgantown, WV; great-grandchildren, Logan LeCour, Ayden Villers, Carson and Brody Richards, and Violet Richards. Carol is also survived by her stepsisters, Gail Ross, Joann Criss, Robyn Parsons; and stepbrothers, Alton and Jared Parsons. Her passions included sewing clothes for her children and her dolls, including Halloween costumes for the children and her dolls, Raggedy Ann and Andy, as well as dog grooming, a hobby she enjoyed briefly. She’s a peace not but will be greatly missed. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public service. An immediate family gathering will be held at a later date in Parsons, WV. Hastings Funeral Home has been entrusted with cremation arrangements. Send condolences online at www.hastingsfuneralhome.com
