Eleanor D. Lambert, 94, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019 in Dover, Ohio.

Born September 26, 1924 in St. George, West Virginia she was a daughter of the late Albert and Frankie McNeill Denison. Eleanor was also preceded in death by her husband, Harlan Lambert on May 15, 1971, a brother Mark Denison, and seven older half-siblings.

She resided in Severna Park, Maryland for many years and when she retired from teaching moved to Dover, Ohio to be closer to her brother.  She was a member of the Maryland Retired Teachers Association, Ohio Retired Teachers Association and the Community Baptist Church in Dover.

Eleanor is survived by her brother, Howard Denison of Dover, Ohio; sister, Martha Shober of Linthicum Heights, Maryland, and many nieces and nephews.  She always remembered family connections and regularly recounted stories of friends and family in Tucker County.

As she wished, cremation has been performed and private graveside services will be held at a later date in Parsons.  Anyone wishing to contact the family may call or email Eleanor’s niece Karen Denison, denison@kdtt.net, 505-469-2698.
