Ella Jean Beckman Luzier

Ella Jean Beckman Luzier passed away May 4, 2016 at Cortland Acres. She was born December 27, 1922 in Oakland, MD, one of 12 children to the late Roy and Mary Beckman. She was married to David Luzier who preceded her in death in 1995, also preceding her in death, 3 sons, Rhett Luzier in 1968, Eric Luzier in 2008, and Craig Luzier in 2009, four brothers, Delton, Garland, Carl, and Joe Beckman, five sisters, Sue Slaubaugh, Rosaline Rattray, Bernice Slaubaugh, Edva Mosser, and Martha Jones.
She is survived by daughter-in-law, Betty Luzier, five grandchildren, Travis (Heather) Luzier, Jared (Beth) Luzier, Alicia (Dave) Lambert, Chris (Jessica) Luzier, and Courtney Luzier, five great-grandchildren, Tucker Luzier, Taylor Luzier, Xander Lambert, Mia Lambert, and Quinn Luzier, two sisters, Janet Shaluta, and Elanor Pettine, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Luzier graduated from Kempton, MD in 1941 and she worked as a homemaker throughout her life. She was a member of the Davis United Methodist Church. She loved baking pies and spending time with her friends and family.
Friends were received, Friday, May 6, from 4-8 p.m. at Hinkle Funeral Home. Funeral services were held 11 a.m., Saturday, May 7, at Hinkle Funeral Chapel with Rev. Neil Parsons officiating.
