Elma Nadine Bohon Fulton, age 79 years, a resident of Hendricks, WV, departed this life early Saturday morning, April 26, 2025, at the WV Caring Hospice Center at Elkins, WV, following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born Saturday, January 26, 1946, at Hendricks, WV, a daughter of the late Paul Marvin and Mable Rebecca Huffman Bohon. She was twice married. On April 6, 1963, at Oakland, MD, she was married to Edward Lee Fulton, who preceded her in death on September 2, 2006. On November 8, 2008, at Parsons, WV, she was married to Robert Alfred Fulton, who preceded her in death December 4, 2015.

Surviving are two sons, Edward James Fulton and wife Kelly of Pierce, and Michael Paul Fulton and wife Patty of Davis; three daughters, Elizabeth Marie McCallister and husband William of Hambleton, June Elaine Merilic and husband Tom of Montrose and Roberta Lee Vandevender and husband Rodney of Kerens; one brother, Danny Ray Johnson and wife Beatrice of St. George; two sisters, Catherine Marie Gatto of Parsons and Martha Leona Lipscomb of Parsons; eleven grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren; and her dog Dozer.

Preceding her in death is one brother, Paul Marvin Bohon; one sister, Mabel Agnes Fulton; one granddaughter, Amy Renee Vandevender; one grandson, David Lee Simpson; and one great granddaughter, Kendra Renee Kalar.

She attended Parsons High School. She worked for the Hamrick Water Department around 1977, helping put water lines in, and was a former employee of the Parsons Nursery Bottom and Kingsford Charcoal Company. She was a member of the Full Gospel Fellowship in Elkins, where she loved to sing. Elma was a homemaker and was a wonderful cook. She enjoyed taking car rides and she loved camping up Dry Fork. She loved her family very much.

The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons, WV on Thursday from 5 PM to 7 PM. Final rites will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 11 AM. Pastor Jerry Helmick will officiate and interment will follow at the Fansler Cemetery at Hendricks, WV.
