Glenomia Mae Clark 74 of Thomas WV and formerly of Wilmington De. went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday May 6th 2018.


Glenomia was part of the Graduating Class of 1962 from Mountaineer High School in Thomas WV. She went on to a 17 year career as a grade school teacher at a Private School in Newark De.

She had a sincere love of people and was active in the Red Hatters Club as well as the Woman’s Auxiliary at the Fraternal order of Eagles 936 in Davis WV.

She had a true heart for God and loved her church family and was active in the Woman’s church group at Community Bible Church in Davis WV.

Glenomia was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend to many. She Loved her home in the beautiful hills of West Virginia, she lived in the house where she was born and raised and took great pride in creating a home that was filled with Love, Laughter and Treasured Memories and where Coffee was always on and Everyone was always welcomed.

Left to cherish her Memory are her Loving and Devoted Husband of 50 years, Francis R. Clark of Thomas WV.

Her Loving Three Daughters Kimberly Ann Wright of Newark De. Sylvia Lynn Wilson (Ronald) of Wilmington De. And Rhonda Lee Shildt (David) of Bear De.

She adored her Grandchildren who will miss her dearly; Tabitha L. Still (Brandon), Ronald D. Wilson jr. And Sarah Lynn Shildt as well as her Great Grandchildren Logan and Avery Joi.

She also leaves behind her Sister Anne Wilson, two step children Ann Cecil and Chris Knorr, as well as many Nieces and Nephews who loved her dearly.

She is preceded by her Siblings; Ruth Mercante of Wilm. De.,Noah (Tom) Carr of Newark De., Rose Ford of Oakland Md., Charles Carr and Robert Carr both of Thomas WV.

A Memorial Service will be held on June 16th 2018 at 1 p.m. at the Community Bible Church in Davis WV.
