James A. Greco, 91, son of the late Pasquale and Mary Greco, dies on Oct. 4, 2014 in Venice, Florida. He was born in Albert, (Douglas), on April 19, 1923 and worked in Washington, DC for many years. He had lived in Florida for the last ten years.
He served in the US Army during World War II. His sisters, Angeline Merhar, Anne Martin Heyl, Louise Evans, Marguerite Moylan and brother Joseph C. Greco preceded him in death. He is survived by sisters Dolores (James) Johnson, Joan (Donald) Welsh and Jean B. Johnson and his good friend and caregiver Harvey Thorp of Englewood, Florida and a number of nieces and nephews.
Jim was laid to rest in the West Virginia National Cemetery in Grafton with full military honors on Oct. 14, 2014. May he rest in peace.
