James Mason, 83, of Mason City, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 at the Mason City Area Nursing Home. He was born May 15, 1934 the son of Oliver and Gladys (Helmick) Mason.
James is survived by two daughters: Diana (Jeff) Oney of Mason City and Jenny Mason of Peoria. He is also survived by three grandchildren and one great grandchild. James was preceded in death by his parents.
James was in the United State Army and proudly served his country. He was a member of the VFW. James worked at the Cargill Grain Elevator for many years.
