Jamie Lee White, 43, of Red Creek, WV died September 7, 2014 in Elkins, WV. He was born July 4, 1971 in Elkins, WV a son of Larry Lee White, Sr. and the late Helen Inez Plaugher White.

He is survived by two daughters, Samantha (Jared) Hoyle, Gastonia, NC and Cheyenne White (daughter of Jamie Robles), Red Creek, WV, two stepdaughters, Kristen Thai, Gastonia, NC, Christine Phillips, and stepson, Christopher Phillips (both children of Destiny Phillips), Elkins, WV, three brothers, Larry (Tabitha) White, Harrisonburg, VA, “Dusty” Brenton White, Red Creek, WV, and Joey White, New Market, VA, one nephew, Malachi White, and three grandchildren.

Mr. White was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was formerly employed as a tree trimmer by Asplundh. He enjoyed hunting and fishing; and he held a strong love for his country, family, and friends. He was protestant by faith.

Friends were received Friday, September 12, from 4-8 p.m. at Job Church of God. Funeral services were held 11 a.m., Saturday, September 13, at Job Church of God with Rev. Todd Rhodes officiating. Interment followed in Bethel Cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. www.hinklefuneralhome.com
