Jamie Lynn Knotts Moon, 34, a resident of Leadmine, passed from this life Thursday, June 26, 2014 in Hendricks. She had been in declining health, but death was unexpected.

JaimeLynnJamie was born Friday, October 5, 1979 in Elkins, a daughter of Edward “Sonny” Knotts and Carolyn Denise Hebb Knotts who survive in Leadmine. She was previously married to James Moon who also survives in Oakland, MD.

Also left to cherish Jamie’s memory is one brother, Justin Ross Knotts, paternal grandmother, Katherine Knotts, two nieces, Ichigo and Lanaya Knotts, all of Leadmine and many more family members and countless friends.

Preceding Jamie in death were her maternal grandparents, George Hebb and Lois Jane Hebb and paternal grandfather, Bernard Knotts.

Jamie really enjoyed reading and doing crafts. She loved animals, camping and especially enjoyed spending time with her many friends. Jamie will be missed greatly, but will forever be in our hearts.

At the family’s request, cremation was honored. Inurnment will follow at a later date in the Watring Family Cemetery on Hog Back Road.

The Summerfield Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements for Jamie Lynn Knotts Moon. Send online condolences to the family at www.summerfieldfuneralhome.com
