Judith “Judy” Ann Showalter, 65, of Dryfork, WV, passed away at Davis Memorial Hospital on August 15, 2021 after a short battle of illness. She was born in Elkins, WV, on August 22, 1955, a daughter to the late William H. and Mildred V. (Kerns) Showalter.

She was known for her cooking, baking, quilting and her many framed paintings. Over the years, she enjoyed volunteering her time at Cortland Acres.
She is survived by one aunt, Martha Kerns, numerous cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one infant sister, Patricia Showalter.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dryfork Assembly of God Church 48 Harvest View Ln. Dryfork, WV 26263 or the Kerns Cemetery 5809 Schoonover Hollow Rd. Elkins, WV 26241

Ms. Showalter’s request for cremation will be honored. Friends will be received August 21, from 1-2 PM at Dryfork Assembly of God. A celebration of Judy’s life will be held at 2:00 pm with Rev. Bill Lewellen officiating. Interment will follow at a later date The Kerns Cemetery in Solly. The Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family at this time.
