Lois Mae Lamont

Lois Mae Lamont, 79, of Thomas,  passed away October 5, 2013 at Cortland Acres. She was born January 8, 1934 in Grand Rapids, Mich. a daughter of the late Jessie and Laura Belle Frary McDowell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Joseph Lamont in November 1968. She is survived by two daughters, JoJo (Pat) Pregley, Davis, WV and Roseann (Tommy) Eye, Pierce, WV, five grandchildren, Mandy (John) Delsignore, Chad (Erin) Pregley, Stacey Pregley, Abbey Eye, and Carley Eye, and four great-grandchildren, Chase Pregley, Elaina Pregley, Dominick Delsignore, and Elizabeth Delsignore. Ms. Lamont loved crocheting, doing crossword puzzles, singing in the choir, playing bingo, and especially spending time with grandchildren.
Friends were received Monday, October 7, from 2-8 p.m. at Hinkle Funeral Home in Davis; Rosary was held at 7:30 p.m..  A Mass of Christian Burial was  held 10 a.m., October 8  at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Thomas, WV.  Father Timothy Grassi  officiated. Interment l followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. www.hinklefuneralhome.com
