Marion Louise Eye, 82, of Elkins, WV and formerly of Lanesville, WV passed away peacefully August 5, 2014 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

She was born May 14, 1932 in Collinsville, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late William Henry and Helen Maxine Arbogast Young. She was preceded in death by her husband John Evert Eye in 1996. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Alan “Jug” Young. She is survived by three sons, John E. (Sharon) Eye, Jr., Parsons, WV, Robert P. (Beverly) Eye, Harman, WV, and Michael A. Eye, Elkins, WV, two daughters, Judy A. (Don) Wilson, Warren, OH, Janet S. (Tom) Eye-Cimino, Painesville, OH and Ginger, three brothers, Butch Phillips, Sonny Miller, and Bill Young, all of Warren, OH, 3 sisters, Judy Rein, Carol Sue Young, and Robin Aulizia, all of Warren, OH, nine grandchildren, Shawn, Josh, Tisha, Christina, Casey, Danny, Mindy, Christopher, Caitlin and Pepper, 10 great-grandchildren, Bethany, Abby, Andrew, Amir, Cade, Stacy, Stephanie, Evelynn, Angela, and Tayilor.

Mrs. Eye was a homemaker. She was a very talented seamstress. She enjoyed working in her flower beds and gardening. She was a member of OES and she was a protestant by faith.

At the request of the deceased, her remains were cremated. Friends were received on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014 at Flanagan Hill United Methodist Church from 1 until 2 p.m. the memorial hour with Rev. Jeff Anderson officiating. Interment of cremains followed at the Flanagan Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canaan Valley Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box, Davis, WV 26260 or the Flanagan Hill Cemetery Association, PO Box 27, Red Creek, WV 26289.
