Millie Ann Moats

Millie Ann Moats, 58, of Aurora, W.Va. died October 29, 2013 at Cortland Acres. She was born February 3, 1955 in Aurora, W.Va. a daughter of the late Cyrus and Edna Moats. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence H. Moats, one son, Lawrence Moats, Aurora, W.Va., two daughters, Connie (Dorsey) Shifflett, Belington, W.Va., and Bonnie (Eddie) Putlovis, Davis, W.Va., seven brothers, Harry (Marcia) Moats, Parker (Corrine) Moats,  Bill Moats, Vernon Moats, Freddy Moats, all of Aurora, W.Va., and Keith Moats, Terra Alta, W.Va., and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Doyle, Darvin, and Lawrence, and one infant sister.

Mrs. Moats was a homemaker. She was protestant by faith; she enjoyed reading her Bible, spending time with grandchildren, and farming.

Friends were received November 1, 2013 at Hinkle Funeral Home from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. the funeral hour with Reverend John Callaway officiating. Interment  followed in Aurora Cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home  was in charge of arrangements. www.hinklefuneralhome.com
