Peter Stephen Shoenfeld, 77 of Davis, WV passed away Monday, November 13, 2017 at Cortland Acres. He was born November 25, 1939 in New York, NY a son of the late Jerome and Rosemary Harris Shoenfeld.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Marilyn Korenyi Shoenfeld. Also surviving, one son, Sgt. Andrew (Claire) Shoenfeld, Hawaii, and one daughter, Sarah (Steve) Shoenfeld, Washington, D.C., two grandchildren, Ruthie and Ammon Longenecker, and one sister, Jane (Donald) Shoenfeld, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Mr. Shoenfeld, after earning his PHD in Mathematics, he worked for SAIC as a scientist. He loved taking hikes and spending time in scientific research. He was on the board of West Virginia Highlands Conservancy, Past President of Davis-Thomas Lions Club and Past President of the Timberline Association. He was also a big supporter of the Nature Conservancy.
