Priscilla Mae “Patsy” Frankhouse Tennant, 75, a resident of Parsons, passed from this life Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Garrett County Memorial Hospital in Oakland, MD following an extended illness.

Patsy was born Sunday, July 13, 1941 in Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Donald Frankhouse and Helen Marie Frankhouse Hubbard. She had been married to Edward Lee Tennant, Sr. with whom she remained friends.

Left to cherish her memory are four children, Edward Lee Tennant, Jr. and wife, Teresa, Bob Lee “Drac” Tennant, all of Auviltown, Sandra Lynn Humphrey of Torrington, CT, and Roxanne Snider of Parsons, one sister, Vickie Black and husband, Charlie of Florida, nine grandchildren, Rachel Summerfield and husband, Chad of Hudson, FL, Andrew Tennant of Parsons, Stephanie Burns and husband, JJ of Auviltown, Kandace Pasko of Georgia, Jennifer Tennant of Parsons, Caroline Humphrey and Randy Humphrey, Jr., both of Torrington, CT, Crystal Helmick of Montrose, and Brittany Collett and husband, Nathan of Charleston, several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Patsy was preceded in death by one daughter, Helen Marie Tennant, and three brothers, Don, Bill, and Jack.

Patsy attended school in Pennsylvania and was a homemaker. She enjoyed watching game shows and the jewelry channel on TV, going to yard sales, and reading.

Patsy’s request for cremation was honored. The Tucker County Senior Center had been a tremendous help to Patsy over the years, and the family has requested memorial contributions in her memory be made to the Tucker County Senior Center, 206 3rd Street, Parsons, WV 26287.The Hostetler Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements for Priscilla Mae Tennant.
