William Ray “Bill” Davis

William Ray “Bill” Davis, 65, a resident of the Mackeyville community passed from this life Friday December 23rd, 2022, at his home under the care of Mountain Hospice after a 3-year battle with cancer.

 

Bill was born Sunday, January 27, 1957, the son of the late John J. And Clara M Roy Davis.

 

Bill was a graduate of Parsons High School and spent the majority of his working life as a truck driver, he very much enjoyed the adventure of the open road. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and family.

 

Surviving him in death is his best friend, partner, and love of his life, Paula Harsh, (who God knew that he needed so badly), son Justin Davis and Alycia Kline of Montrose, daughter Jacey Davis, and son Liam Davis of Parsons, two beautiful granddaughters Jolene and Lillian Davis of Montrose, brother John S. Davis and Rose of Hambleton, niece Ashley Davis of Boston, Ma., brother Scott Roy and Jena of Kerens, niece Anna, and sister Pamela Sue and Marlin Sexton of Parsons.

 

Preceding him in death besides his parents was a son, Jarrett Davis.

 

Bill was a Methodist by faith.

 

Bill’s request to be cremated was honored and a memorial to be set at a later date.  The Hostetler Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements for William Ray “Bill” Davis.  Condolences may be made to the family at www.hostetlerfuneralhome.com.
