Ricky Lee “Bubbie” Thompson

Ricky Lee “Bubbie” Thompson, 51, a resident of Parsons, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Garrett County Memorial Hospital in Oakland, MD surrounded by his family.


Ricky was born June 9, 1965, in Parsons, a son of the late Hobart Rae (Buck) Thompson and Shirley Mae Miller Thompson who survives. He was also preceded in death by his wife Terri (Floatie) Carr Thompson and a sister, Darlene Mae Thompson.

Others left to cherish Ricky’s memory is one daughter, Shaundra Thompson and companion Jesse Tolson, one son, A1C Cainan Thompson, one grandson, Dacen Lee Tolson, one granddaughter, Chloe Tolson, two sisters, Becky Hinkle and Linda Rhodes, three brothers, John Thompson, Jim (Hooker) Thompson and Jimmy (Bo) Thompson, and several nieces and nephews.

Ricky attended Tucker County High School and had worked for many years for Roberts Estates Inc. He was a member of the Mountaintop Hunting Club. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4×4 races, riding 4 wheelers, and digging ramps and mushrooms.
