Robert Ashby Andrews, 77, of Canaan Valley, WV passed away June 5, 2014 at his home.

He was born January 23, 1937 in Washington, D.C. a son of the late Robert Pholey and Louise Elizabeth Ashby Andrews. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Delores Allen Andrews. He is also survived by one son, Timothy Allen (Gina) Andrews, Sharpsburg, MD, one daughter, Deborah Louise (Gary) McNamara, Hampstead, MD and five grandchildren, Caitlin Fogarty, Cory, Aaron, and Alayna Andrews, and Dacie McNamara.

Mr. Andrews retired as an engineer from C & P Telephone, which is now Verizon. He was an active member in Canaan Valley Baptist Church and he was also a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association. He loved the Lord and his family. He enjoyed woodworking, building specialty furniture, and RVing.

At the request of the deceased, his remains were cremated. Memorial service will be held at a later date. Hinkle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.hinklefuneralhome.com
