Ronald Joseph “Ronnie” Wotring

Ronald Joseph “Ronnie” Wotring, age 73 years, a resident of Nestorville, WV departed this life Saturday morning, December 14, 2024, at the Mountain Living Community at Belington, WV with his loving family at his side.  He had been in declining health.

He was born Thursday, March 15, 1951, at Eglon, WV, a son of the late Willard Carl and Wanda Marie Davis Wotring.  He had never married.

Surviving are one brother, Willard Jackson “Jack” Wotring of Philippi, WV; one nephew, Sherwood Lynn Wotring and wife Alma of Clarksburg; and one great nephew, Franklyn Lynn Wotring and wife Joshelyn; one great niece, Crystal Marie Wotring, one great great niece, Lydia Wotring.

He was a graduate of Philip Barbour High School with the class of 1969.  He worked in construction for forty years as a labor haul and was a member of the ALFCIO Labor Union # 984.  He was a Methodist by faith.  In his younger years he enjoyed hunting.  Ronald, along with his brother were dedicated caregivers to their parents.

The family received friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons, WV on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, from 4 PM to 6 PM.  Final rites were conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 11 AM.  Pastor Donna Bolinger officiated and interment followed at the Bonnifield Cemetery at St. George, WV.  The Lohr & Barb Funeral Home was honored to be in charge of the arrangements for Ronald Joseph “Ronnie” Wotring.  Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.lohrbarbfuneralhome.com
