Roxanne Tennant Snider, 61, a resident of Parsons, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at WV Caring Hospice Inpatient Center in Elkins.

Roxanne was born Wednesday, September 4, 1963, in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of Edward Lee Tennant Sr., and the late Priscilla Mae “Patsy” Frankhouse Tennant.

Left to cherish Roxanne’s memory besides her father, is a daughter, Brittany Collett and husband, Nathan, of Charleston, a grandson, Bryton Bennett, a brother, Robert Lee Tennant, a sister, Sandra Lynn Humphrey of Torrington, CT, and several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Crystal Helmick of Montrose.

Preceding Roxanne in death besides her mother was a sister, Helen Marie Tennant and a brother, Edward Lee Tennant, Jr.

Roxanne attended Tucker County schools and was a self-employed housekeeper. She enjoyed camping, cookouts, being outside and riding the side-by-side. Roxanne had a kind heart and would help anyone. She loved her family and spending time with them. She also loved her dogs and was the proud godmother of Caroline Humphrey.

Visitation was held at the Hostetler Funeral Home on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 1pm-2pm, the funeral hour. Rev. Lowell Moore will officiate and Roxanne’s request for cremation will be honored. The Hostetler Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements for Roxanne Tennant Snider. Send online condolences to the family at www.hostetlerfuneralhome.com.
