Sandra “Ann” Manus Lowrance Cosner

Sandra “Ann” Manus Lowrance Cosner, 74, a resident of Parsons, passed from this life Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.

Ann was born on Friday, April 25, 1947, a daughter of the late Bill Silvey and Tommie Lou Morgan Manus Lowrance Silvey. On May 29, 1965, in Abilene, TX, she married Roger Carl Cosner, Sr., who survives. They had celebrated fifty-six years of marriage.

Also left to cherish Ann’s memory are two children, Kara Cosner of Tyler, TX, and Roger Carl Cosner, Jr., two siblings, Ross Lowrance and wife, Belinda, and Ellen Silvey and husband, Bill, all of Texas, four grandchildren, Riva Cosner, Ava Cosner, Richard Lebsack, and Melissa James, and three great grandchildren, Shelby Bice, Lexi Phillips, and Code Cosner, and several nieces and nephews.

Ann was a graduate of Wylie High School in Wylie, TX with the class of 1965. She had worked as a shift supervisor at Abilene State School. She was an avid painter and writer. She had ministered to many young women as a volunteer with the crisis pregnancy center for over thirty years.

Ann’s request for cremation will be honored and a memorial service is being planned for a later date. The Hostetler Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements for Sandra “Ann” Lowrance Cosner. Send online condolences to the family at: www.hostetlerfuneralhome.com.
