SHAROLETT ULALA BENDER STREETS

SHAROLETT ULALA BENDER STREETS, age 74 years, a resident of Hambleton, WV, departed this life Friday afternoon, September 14, 2018 at the West Virginia University Hospital, Ruby Memorial at Morgantown, WV.  She had been in her usual health until the past two weeks, however death was unexpected.


She was born Thursday, March 23, 1944 at Parsons, WV, a daughter of the late Lester Neal and Zelda Marie James Bender.   She was married to Asa Morris “Sonny” Streets, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, James Allen Streets and wife Mary Beth of St. George and William Neal Streets and wife Cindy of Hambleton; one daughter, Sharon Marie “Penny” Smith and husband Chad of Hambleton; one sister, Sharon Simmons of Alexandria, VA; one nephew, Robert Simmons and wife Julie of VA; seven grandchildren, Courtney Hayes, Wyatt Streets, Adair Smith, Dakota Streets, Nakeiah Streets, Trent Smith and Avery Smith; and two great grandchildren, Jaxson Quattro and Asa Fecsko.
Also preceding her in death is one niece, Evonne Heckler.
She was a graduate of Parsons High School with the class of 1962.  She was a former employee and produce manager of Shop-n-Save; drove the van for the Mt. Top Senior Center and worked for Davis Health System.  She was a homemaker, a babysitter and a caregiver.  She was a devoted member of the Pentecostal Church of God at Hendricks.
She enjoyed traveling and taking Cruise’s.  She loved the Lord, her Bible and her Church.  Sharolett was a friend to many and loved to make people laugh.  She loved her children and grandchildren.
The family received friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons on Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m.  Final rites were conducted at the funeral home on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 11 a.m..  Pastor Adam Snyder officiated, and interment followed at the Sunrise Cemetery at Hambleton, WV.  The Lohr & Barb Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements for SHAROLETT ULALA BENDER STREETS.  Condolences may be expressed to the family at;www.lohrbarbfuneralhome.com.
