Sylvia May Moyers

Sylvia May Moyers, 74, a resident of Parsons, passed from this life Sunday, May 14, 2023, at Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center.

Sylvia was born Monday, June 14, 1948 in Pittsburgh, PA. She had attended Parsons High School, and she worked for several years at Wal-Mart.

Sylvia was proceeded in death by her foster mom Florence Webb, one sister Wanda and two brothers Rick and Dave. 

Sylvia is survived by her fur baby Skippy. One sister Juanita Inskeep of Petersburg. One daughter Michelle Shahan and one son David “Chopper” Shahan and wife Lisa both of Eglon. Four grandchildren Evan Shahan and wife Diane, Logan, Leevi and Lynnzee Shahan. One great granddaughter Evelyn Ann Marie Shahan. Along with many nieces and nephews. 

Sylvia’s wish was to be cremated so there will be no services at this time. Services will be at a later date. The Hostetler Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements for Sylvia May Moyers. Send online condolences to the family at www.hostetlerfuneralhome.com.
