William Albert Turner, Sr.

William Albert Turner, Sr. was called to heaven on Nov. 9, 2021 at the age of 81.  Bill was born in Hendricks, WV on Feb. 22, 1940, the son of Joseph (June) and Rose Young Turner.  He was a 40 year resident of Baton Rouge, La.  He was a 21 year veteran of the U.S. Army.  He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather.  He is survived by his wife of 57 years Sylvia Ann Turner.  Bill graduated from Parsons High School in 1958.

 

He is also survived by his children, Jessie Turner and wife Rebecca, Janice Renee Milligan and William Albert Turner, Jr and wife Celeste.  He also has five grandchildren Ryan Milligan, Hisa Turner, Star Turner, Aubrey Turner and Allison Turner.  He is also survived by a brother, Jerry A Turner and a sister Roberta J Fulton.

He was predeceased in death by his brother, Joseph A. Turner and his sister Elwanda (Cookie) Smith.

 

A memorial service was held at the gravesite on Nov. 13, 2021.
