To the editor,
Could there be a more perfect way to understand Donald Trump than his closing remarks in Florida at The Believers Summit on July 26th? He said, “Christians, get out and vote, just this time. You won’t have to do it anymore. … You got to get out and vote. In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good you’re not going to have to vote.”
He doesn’t even care about the Republican Party, which he leads. Nope…it’s just about him. Not policy, not scary evil Democrats, not the working class getting a fair shake, not the influx of immigrants, not crime or drugs, not even about the swamp.
For Donald Trump, this election is all about begging you to vote for him. Just him, his insatiable ego, and the power to pardon himself for all past and future crimes.
