Captain, the Ship is Sinking!
I feel like a blue fish in a red sea, but I urge you to help me elect a new president. The latest reason is Mr. Trump’s insistence that to have a fair election, “We have to get rid of the ballots. Then there will not be a transfer of power. There will be a continuation of power.“ This shows his unfitness for his job. He dares to claim that our elections are unfair unless he is reelected.
Some other reasons:
Can parents want their children to admire a man with the childish habit of choosing a mean nickname for anyone who has a different opinion?
Thousands of innocent children would be in their parents’ arms if he was more careful in trying achieving his aim of cutting down on illegal immigration.
He didn’t separate himself from his personal businesses, leaving him free to profit from his position in any way possible.
He expects our national experts to set aside their knowledge and agree with whatever he says. Drink bleach, anyone?
We are leading the world with more than 200,000 Covid19 deaths. If he had done what the experts recommended, this would not be the case. The simple and important step of modeling good behavior by wearing a mask would have saved many lives.
Even now, in the middle of the pandemic, he is in court trying to end health insurance for 10 million Americans.
It’s time for a steady hand at the top. I am voting for Joe Biden and the Democratic candidates who will help him steer the ship back on course. I hope you do, too.
