Response to letter by Mimi Kibler

Dear Editor,

I would like to respond to the recent letter by Mimi Kibler. Too many people are getting their news from the likes of MSNBC and CNN, especially on their evening programs. They have innumerable guests to come on and do their lying for them so they don’t have to. Coy, but stupid.

I’m going to attach two or three URL’s that will shed some light on the Covid bill that was fought over in the Senate prior to the early March vote. Please read them, the full article, and then go check out what you’ve read with some other internet magazines that have a reputable slant for the truth. You can find them, I did.

They were successful in removing funding for a bridge to Canada and Nancy’s tunnel to who knows where, and amended some of the payments and unemployment insurance but there was just too much other stuff left in there that was unnecessary and that’s when the Republicans balked. They did take some of the credit for the $1,400 and some other things because they actually got the democrats to bend a little on some items, but when they flatly refused to remove a lot of the unnecessary pork, negotiations stopped. I wouldn’t want any part of voting for it either.

A parting shot; you mention the voting restriction laws are hurting the country. Everyone who is eligible to vote can vote, and if they can’t produce ID they can get one but the democrats say it’s too much trouble. That’s part of why we have dead people voting and other people voting in two and three precincts. You’re listening to those liars on those talk shows when you should be reading the bills up for vote in the state legislatures. You can access all fifty states and stay current. This free money has to stop sometime, but the democrats want to keep it going. Enjoy!
