2014 is not looking very bright for me so far. I just had to have my poor kitty put down. She was 19 years old and a big part of my family. That same evening my dog, Bailey, started having seizures. That was a very long night. She is still not well this morning so I am very concerned about her. All my animals are special to me and I hate to see any of them not doing well.

Any of you out there that have animals know what I am talking about. They each have a personality of their own and just like people, they speak in different languages. Momma Said, The more I am around people, the more I like my animals.” I can tell you one thing, I have the best vet in the world, he came in late last night to care for Bailey and I cannot thank him enough.

My friends are a treasure to me and I hold them dear. Momma Said, “If you have special friends, do not despair because you have a gift that is priceless.” Do not take that for granted.

My love for animals has been with me all my life. If I knew I could feed them all, I would have more than I do. I am not an animal hoarder and I believe in spaying and neutering to keep the populations down. I hate to see strays or any animal being abused. If you have an animal that needs help or know of any abuse happening, please step up and help that animal.

My niece is wanting my brother to buy her a dog. The shelters are full and she wants him to BUY her a dog. She has been speaking with a breeder that sounds very creditable because they want three references. I know breeders are passionate about what they do, but I think the dogs in the shelters are just as valuable as a dog with a bloodline. Sometimes they do have purebred dogs in shelters that people just can’t afford to keep or just don’t plan want.

Do your part and look out for those who cannot look out for themselves. If it is an animal or a person in need, help out whenever and wherever you can. Momma Said, “The time we have at this exact moment in our lives is a time we can do something worthwhile.”
